Cyber-truck
This is a 24:1 pickup truck, based on the 1967 4x4 Chevrolet C10 model.
On its cargo bed, I mounted a single board computer plus various hardware gadgets -- a MIPI Camera, pan-tilt laser tower, and an OLED display.
I loved doing kernel device driver projects on this little truck and taking photos of it in front of places I visited.
Santa Barbara
2017-2021. I lived in Isla Vista, Santa Barbara County.
During the most stressful times of work and study, I walked along Campus Point Beach and listened to the tides talk, taking a deep breath.
At sunset, the purplish sky blended with the blushing Pacific Ocean, and such a beautiful scene was the world's best relaxation.
Seagulls, ravens, hummingbirds, magpies, raccoons, and other magic creatures were ubiquitous.
And you would always meet some very nice people around this town.
Pittsburgh
Its continental climates made distinguishable seasons.
In the winter, Pittsburgh's streets were covered with inches of snow. The smoky atmosphere, leafless woods, and freezing thunderstorms lingered on a depressing steel city.
The confusing road layout, stupefying intersections, and everlasting congestion made it frustrating to drive here.
I left this city in 2022 Winter.
Baltimore
Baltimore was famous for its Inner Harbor, the creation of the National Anthem, Edgar Allan Poe, the Johns Hopkins University, the Atlantic blue crabs, and more.
Unfortunately, the city was notorious for its concerning crime rate, so I had always been rigorous in a careful route search for groceries.
I absolutely fancied the great experience at Johns Hopkins University's -- the Nolan's on 33rd, the Quads, the George Peabody Library...
In Autumn, the squirrels were ubiquitous in the campus, searching for food. I loved observing the little cute creatures.
The Jitter Machine was my favorite coffee from the Brody Learning Commons Café.
San Francisco
The Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, the sea lions, and the earliest spots of immigration in the United States. -- this is known as the "Bay Area."
I had a short road trip to San Francisco, and Silicon Valley in Santa Clara County in the summer 2022.
A cosmopolitan of tech prosperity and culture fusion, I would love to visit again soon.
